Netiquette
- the Basic set of rules you should follow to make the internet a better place for other people & yourself.
Basic Rules for Netiquette:
1) Don't write or send anything online without being cautious of what is written or said. This includes email, message boards, social websites, videos, and more.
2) Remember to ask before sending on anything that is confidential (private).
3) Watch out for Plagiarism or Copyright Information before sending it or using it in a project.
4) Spell check everything. Also check to make sure that your grammar is correct.
5) Make sure that what is written is something that you would feel comfortable saying in person.
6) It is sometimes hard to determine whether someone is joking in an email. Be careful to indicate that humor is being used when typing.
7) Typing in all capital letters is considered to be yelling online. Make sure to capitalize letters where they should be and not all the time.
